Head of Business Development

Core responsibilities
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive business development strategies to attract new clients from China and retain existing relationships in the trust and fiduciary sector.

  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, both domestically and internationally, to expand the company’s footprint.

  • Lead and build a high-performing business development team

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, legal and tax advisors, institutional investors, and corporate partners.

  • Collaborate with professional parties to develop innovative trust solutions meeting clients’ unique needs.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, ensuring the company remains agile and competitive.

  • Prepare and present business proposals, strategic plans, and performance reports to executive leadership and the board of directors.

Qualifications required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in business development, engineering, client relationship management, wealth management, or private equity sector.

  • Proven track record in acquiring and managing high-value client relationships, preferably with an international clientele.

  • In-depth knowledge of trust structures, estate planning, fiduciary services, and related regulatory frameworks.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Mandarin.

  • Strong professional network and reputation within the trust and wealth management community.

  • Frequent travel to China is required.
